I’ve been playing around with the Cinemagraph format. I think it’s kind of neat, although the line between cool and cheesy is pretty thin!

As a multimedia producer, photographer and lover of all things visual, it’s important for me to be as well rounded as possible in the visual arts.  However, no matter how hard you try to be accomplished there will always be certain genres that ring more true than others. As much as I love film and video, photography is a deep and long-felt passion of mine, so I was thrilled to have a substantial spread of my work published in the December issue of Portfolio magazine. What a fantastic time we had this past weekend. The Naples International Film Festival was running and they did a fantastic job. Powerhouse, one of the best bands in the business, played the opening Gala and they simply rocked that room all night long. I took some photos and some video clips and put a short show together. Unfortunately the sound was recorded on my iPhone, so it leaves a lot to be desired… sorry Alan!

Last weekend we photographed a fabulous couple getting married in Marco Island. It was a long but fun wedding, and the bride loved the black and whites we did for her!

Wow! sometimes I think I have the best job in the world!!! Not only did I get to hang out yesterday photographing one of the worlds most exclusive and exotic cars, but I also did it with a great British auto journalist, Howard Walker. There’s not much he doesn’t know about cars and he’s published and traveled all over the world. Here’s a couple of shots from the day!

We had the pleasure of capturing the beauty of this mother and daughter. Kristin loves black and white photography and asked for the whole show to reflect that! We put this short two minute show together and posted it on YouTube so Kristin could share with her friends and family. Music was by Kevin Macloed

Last year we worked on Necker Island, which is located in the Carribean and owned by Sir Richard Branson. We were asked to photograph the flora and fauna for a small publication “The Necker Island Guide” which is given to all visitors so they can explore the small island paradise themselves and identify the things they see. Well, the guide took some time to get published as it was all produced inhouse at Virgin Publishing and I hear it got put on a back burner for a while. It was worth the wait the booklet looks fantastic and Jan and I put a DVD show together that can be enjoyed by guests staying on the Island!
